201: Suspendable Upper Body Ties
This class series explores various upper body ties built for suspension. Each time the class runs, we will cover a different harness shape. The format of the class will remain the same.
Class description:
These hands-on classes are designed for those who want to deepen their understanding of suspension-ready chest harnesses. Together, we’ll explore chest harnesses built for suspension, discussing structural elements, how to modify for different bodies, and key safety considerations. Students will be guided step-by-step through the ties, with opportunities to practice it in suspension (suspension not required). At the end of class, you’ll walk away knowing a suspendable harness, along with skills to support adaptable suspension play.
While we will always be exploring an upper body tie in this class, the harness types will rotate. Here are some harnesses that we aim to explore in this class:
- Tenshis
- Tengu
- Arms Front
- Arms Free
- Tepu
- Gote
- Strappado
Prerequisites:
People tying should:
- Be familiar with rope bondage safety basics
- Have the ability to tie a non-collapsible single column tie
- Have the ability to tie x frictions, munter hitches, and half hitches
- Have command of forward and reverse tension
- If planning to suspend (not required) – Should be comfortable with upline management. Uplines WILL NOT be taught in this class.
People being tied should:
- Have the ability to communicate their needs and preferred placements in rope
- Be familiar with rope bondage safety basics

102: Single Column Shenanigans
This class series explores various lower body ties built for suspension. Each time the class runs, we will cover a different harness shape. The format of the class will remain the same.
Class description:
This hands-on class is designed for those who want to deepen their understanding of suspension-ready lower body ties. Together, we’ll explore a suspendable lower body tie, discussing structural elements, how to modify for different bodies, and key safety considerations. Students will be guided step-by-step through the tie, with opportunities to practice it in suspension (suspension not required). At the end of class, you’ll walk away knowing a suspendable lower body harness, along with skills to support adaptable suspension play.

203: Ultimate Uplines: Skills and Safety
Class description:
In this hands-on class, we will take a deep dive into uplines. You will learn a variety of hangars, lock offs, and ways to burn rope at the end of your uplines. We will cover safety tips for suspension and how to mitigate and navigate rope jams and emergencies. This is a great class for those new to suspension or those looking to polish their uplines.
Prerequisites:
The person tying should:
- Have command of forward and reverse tension
- Be familiar with rope bondage safety basics
- Have the ability to tie a non-collapsible single column tie
- Have the ability to tie x frictions, munter hitches, and half hitches

Offered intermittently, based on community needs.
204: Suspension Shapes
This class series explores various suspension shapes and sequences. Each time the class runs, we will cover a different suspension. The format of the class will remain the same.
Class description:
In this hands-on class, we will explore how to create various shapes in suspension. We will practice upline management and discuss how to make decisions mid-suspension to give ourselves options when transitioning. We will also give tips for smoothly moving in and out of suspension shapes, and avoiding tying yourself into a corner.
Prerequisites:
The person tying should:
- Feel comfortable with suspension
- Have a good command of upline management
- Know suspension-worthy harnesses. Specific harnesses may be highlighted for each class.
The person being tied should:
- Have a desire to be in suspension rope
- Have the ability to communicate their needs and preferred placements in rope

Offered every 4 months.
Special Topics
Description:
In our Beyond the Basics track, we will have regular special topics classes during the repeating 4-month curricular cycle. These topics will be selected based on the interests of the local community.
