102: Single Column Shenanigans
Class description:
Come explore the world of the single-column tie in this hands-on class! We will introduce various single-column tie options and show how they can easily become part of your play. Beyond the basics, we’ll uncover exciting positions and versatile options that you can achieve with this simple tie. In this class, you will develop practical skills that you can use to jump straight into play. Join us for a journey of discovery as we reveal creative techniques and a variety of playful possibilities!

103: Rope Handling
Class description:
Do you want to control your ropes better? Are you looking for techniques to help you tie more quickly, with better flow, and with consistent tension? If so, this is the class for you. In this hands-on class for all levels, you will learn how to better control your tension and flow. Using exercises and practice techniques, we will explore how to most effectively control your rope to tie more efficiently and fluidly.
This class is accessible for partnered tying or self-tying.
Prerequisites:
NONE. Rope Basics 101, 102, and 103 can be taken in any order.

104: Let’s Get Hitched: Knots & Frictions
Class description:
So you know your single columns and maybe a few basic harnesses–now it’s time to level up! Come nerd out with us on the art of hitches and frictions! We’ll cover the fundamentals, then dive deeper into directionality, structure, and spacing to demonstrate how to turn simple ties into functional, versatile techniques. Learn the why behind the construction of a harness in this hands-on class. It’s perfect for those ready to expand their toolkit, explore dynamic floor rope, and gain confidence in creating secure, intentional ties.
This class is accessible for partnered tying or self-tying.
Prerequisites:
- The person tying should know how to tie a non-collapsible single column.
- The person being tied should have a desire to be in rope and some understanding of body and nerve awareness.
- Self-tiers should be comfortable with all of the above.

Special Topics
Description:
In our Basics track, we will have special topics classes that run intermittently. Check out some of our Special Topics class titles:
- Intro to Improv – How to build your own ties, by understanding rope logic and body mechanics.
- Floor Play – How to build dynamic scenes on the ground.
Prerequisites:
Changes, depending on the class. Please read posted class descriptions. Most classes will require you to have command of the skills covered in Rope Basics 101, 103, 103, and 104.
