EVENT DESCRIPTION
This is an open-tie event for rope bondage enthusiasts to practice rope skills with others: labbing, sharing, and tying playfully. The event will take place in Jamaica Plain, Boston, MA.
We will facilitate one or more official skill shares per event with the purpose of fulfilling rope community needs and interests outside of classroom experiences. We will find out what attendees want to practice and learn, and facilitate shares led by those who are skilled and willing. Most often this will be using un-conference style workshops at the beginning of the event.
We expect attendees to know the basics of rope safety/risks, scene etiquette, and have the ability to be self-directed with their rope experience. Participation in any skill share is optional, so you can learn from your peers or practice on your own, as you see fit.
Please be respectful when approaching others with requests to tie or share skills. You will have the opportunity during opening circle to express what you’re looking for and if you’re open to being approached.
Wicked SMart Rope Share is an 18+, substance free event. There will NOT be a Rope 101 circle at this event.
